REGRESSION
BACK TO NOW - PART 2
"You doubt
your beliefs when you make judgments about others' truths" FJV |

There is much more to reincarnation than can be contained in this short essay. The energies involved are so varied and immense they greatly challenge 3 dimensional thought. Yet you can use regression in the absence of understanding its multiple energetic flows, much like driving a car without knowing its mechanical and electronic intricacies. Before discussing regression further, a brief sketch of what is known about post-traumatic stress (PTS) is in order. Human emotions are a response to stimuli from the physical environment. These stimuli are first processed by centers in the primitive limbic brain including the thalamus, the receiver of sensory data, and the amygdala. The latter produces an emotional response and sends the information to the pre-frontal cortex for integration and planning via the hippocampus. The pre-frontal cortex in turn gives feedback to the amygdala and settles its emotional excitation. In the case of "subjectively" severe trauma this interactive brain process is interrupted in two ways: there is interference in communication about the event between the amygdala and the hippocampus and between the higher brain center and the amygdala. The primal emotion that remains charged in the amygdala is fear. The amygdala by itself does not have the capacity to process emotions. When the brain does not appropriately deal with psychological trauma, the memories of the event and the emotional experience become localized in the subconscious mind. Here the fear and its triggers are imprinted and defenses are formed to cope with them such as: dissociation, obsessions, emotional numbness, self-destructive behavior and amnesia. The defenses become part of the personality. This process is known as post-traumatic stress. The victim of PTS is highly sensitive to stimuli that are associated with its fragmented and emotionally charged memories of the traumatic event; and he will respond to them with the original emotional intensity when exposed to similar stimuli. Until the fear is resolved consciously (and, physically, by reestablishing communication between the amygdala and the pre-frontal cortex) the fear and defense mechanisms remain in play subconsciously.
According to what is known about reincarnation the conscious and subconscious minds survive death, as does the personality; and their energies become an integral part of the soul, even in their unbalanced state. Accordingly, what is unprocessed in one life is carried on to the next in a three dimensional linear sense The Higher Self is very aware of the soul's energy imbalance and its absolute necessity to restore an even flow of energy. Consequently, the next life is planned in such a way that it will again bring aspects of previously lived personalities into physical form to experience pre-determined opportunities that can restore energy balance by resolving the stuck charge of fear. The unbalanced energies become potential in the newborn child and develop in a child's personality during the first six years of life. The process of healing the affects of past life trauma has been typically very slow at best. Very few aspects of the imprinted fear and defenses could, up until now, be resolved in one lifetime or many, if at all. The obstacles to healing are formidable given the tenacious nature of the ego directed and conditioned subconscious mind. This makes conscious resolution in the present difficult. When predetermined healing opportunities occur in a current life the greater tendency is to respond to them with conditioned subconscious beliefs, emotions and behaviours, which require healing. Therefore our experiential responses in life after life tend to reinforce, by repetition, the subconscious defense responses and the internal fear they are defending against. In my past lives the traumatic fear manifested over and over without resolution and its pattern was repeatedly reinforced. The domination of the numbing subconscious fear in all those lives made them very difficult ones. My fear - action leads to error leads to disaster and death - prevented me from interacting with others and the world. I was obsessed with psychologically defending myself from re-experiencing this fear with my array of defenses. In this life a number of circumstances transpired that are allowing for the loosening of the conditioned subconscious grip on my life. As a result, my self-awareness at 4 levels is expanding and my fear is healing. My life has still not been completely untangled from fear and its defenses. Many of their manifestations, I know, remain operational. With the help of sensed and hidden energies, fellow incarnates, and a host of Spirit guides I am knowing more and more of them. As I recognize them they can be consciously released and healed. And I know they are also healed in all my lives as if they never existed; like finding refuge in awakening from a horrible dream. From my regression experiences and other information made available to me, it is apparent the healing of the disempowering fear of past life trauma needs resolution in the present. There is no merit in experiencing past lives other than facilitate healing in the present; and only in some instances is this even necessary. Remember, only the unresolved energy of the trauma is brought forward to be experienced in the present life in different contexts. When it is re-experienced we have the opportunity to take control of them, release them energetically and heal them through our Divinity (Higher Self). There can be no healing in the past because it is out of reach of the conscious present. Only in the present can we be creative and effect change. I have learned that Spiritual
Beings are intentionally sending energy to help release us from the grip
of fear resulting from the world's lengthy history of trauma and thereby
heal the earth and its inhabitants. This energy is responsible for my
healing process. It is bringing us so much opportunity for conscious self-awareness.
For many drama and trauma are being heightened in this life for this very
reason: to move us towards healing and completion. It is prompting us
to be aware of our hidden inner identity as Devine Beings and negate the
need to search endlessly, in past lives and elsewhere, for clues about
who we are and our discontents.

COMMENTARY

I trust you are having a prosperous and healthful "2010". I also trust you taking full advantage of the many opportunities being made available to us for Spiritual awareness and growth. I see 2010 as being an energetically unique year. The energies flowing into our world are increasingly supporting the presence of a revolutionary new earth. Allowing these energies into your life and "riding" them, so to speak, will carry you joyfully into your grand Spiritual awakening. The year 2010 is also significant because it is the last year the old world paradigm will be of any energetic significance; and many will no longer be able to relate to it. It is my sense that as of October 2010 the energies of the new world and its impact on human consciousness will have intensified to assist many more people to make the conscious transition to the new earth. Others will continue to be motivated by fear and its many expressions. As they try to hold to the ways of the ego driven old world their fear will increase and overburden their minds and bodies. This will cause them physical and mental health problems, intensely more than now, and make it more difficult for them to heal, in this life, the issues that bind them to old unsound world structures. Strive to know your Truth. Accept your vulnerability and experience yourself fully. Be present with yourself and allow your Divinity to be experienced in you and experience through you.
